Inconceivable. It has been a full year since this little bundle popped out into the wide world. It has been a wonderful/scary/frustrating/fantastic/beautiful year. She gets more personality (i.e. attitude) every week, and it only adds more luster to her smile, and more twinkle to her eyes. Here she is on her actual birthday after enjoying a bit of cake.

Ha ha! Found the blog through "Harles". Love the pictures and can relate to your sentiments. Hate to sound like "old sage on the hill" but I do have 6 months more experience in parenting :).
The next 6 are really going to wow you. We saw more change in Maya from 12 months to 18 months personality wise than the 12 before. I'm not sure whether it is just an infant's inability to express herself, or get what she wants. But once Maya learned to climb, to mimic, to sing, to dance, to run, to run away from, to hide, aah... whole new worlds of expression.
And it really is a treat to watch it take place. We're now trying to figure out how to keep the kid in nursery! Can't imagine why anyone would want to be anywhere else. Food, entertainment, gospel discussions, music...
